Cormac Lucey  

Cormac is well known and respected economic commentator and contributes to National newspapers, TV and Radio.

Cormac holds an MBS from UCD and is a qualified Chartered Accountant. He was formerly Vice-President, Rabobank International Acquisition Finance and finance director of an AIM quoted company, Stentor plc. Cormac has been a consultant on acquisition and disposals for a number of quoted Irish companies and is currently director of the IMI business finance programme and tutor on a number of Chartered Accountants Ireland courses.

 
Caoimhe Giblin  

Caoimhe is Director of Finance at SSE Renewables, the renewable energy division of SSE plc.  SSE plc has the largest portfolio of renewable assets in the UK and Ireland and in Ireland supplies energy to customers through its subsidiary Airtricity.  Prior to her current role, Caoimhe was Head of Corporate Finance for SSE Renewables/Airtricity having qualified as a Chartered Accountant while working with KPMG in Dublin and New Zealand. 

Through her roles in SSE plc and KPMG, Caoimhe has gained extensive experience of corporate acquisitions and disposals, equity fundraising, project finance and debt financing.  

Guest speakers:

The course will involve a number of guest speakers from relevant specialist disciplines. They will discuss their experiences, offering a further insight into the practicalities of working in Corporate Finance.
