Members in their first year of practice receive a 50% discount off the full price for Regulatory based courses -Audit, Taxation, Insolvency, and Investment Business.
Chartered Accountants Ireland offers discounted classroom CPD courses to unemployed members of the institute. This benefit is to enable members to grow their professional knowledge, update their skills with current developments, and to network with other members and firms. Discounted spaces are limited to classroom-based CPD courses run by Chartered Accountants Ireland and are subject to capacity controls. A member may receive a maximum of 20 discounted CPD hours in any calendar year. To avail of this benefit, a member must be registered with our Careers Advisory Department and must be actively searching for employment.

We do not offer discounted or complimentary CPD courses to members on any other types of career breaks. As a reminder, members are exempt from CPD requirements during any type of career break.
Chartered Accountants Ireland offer complimentary CPD courses to retired members of the institute. Complimentary spaces are limited only to classroom-based CPD courses run by Chartered Accountants Ireland and are also subject to capacity controls.
There are no discounts offered on courses that are already discounted (such as the Going Into Practice course).
