Go The Extra Mile

Chartered Accountants Healthy Heart Day is a Charity Day of action for all Chartered Accountants and Chartered Accountancy students, their friends, families and employees on 20th April 2012, with events planned across the island. For our first year, we will be raising funds for the Irish Heart Foundation and Northern Ireland Chest, Heart & Stroke. Cardiovascular disease is the biggest killer of both men and women on our island. The good news is that just 30 minutes of physical activity 5 times a week can reduce your risk of heart attack and stroke. Please register and make your pledge today.

Please Support Our Cause

Martin Wilson, Former President, Chartered Accountants Ireland"As somebody who has gotten a new lease of life following quadruple by-pass surgery in 2007, I can think of no more worthy a cause than the Irish Heart Foundation / NICHS whose research and awareness projects have the capacity to tackle what is clearly a major cause of early death and misery in our society. Properly diagnosed and treated you can lead a normal fulfilling life following surgery, in my case my golf handicap is lower than before my operation and I'm enjoying every minute. You never know what you have until it's threatened."
