Irish Accountancy Educational Trust (IAET)


The IAET was established in 1981. Its role is to provide grants for accountancy related research and other relevant projects which would:

a) Further and develop the science of accountancy in all its branches and
b) Promote educational facilities for the teaching of accountancy, auditing, finance and other related subjects

The exact amount of grant support provided will depend on the nature of the research or project, and the level of related expenditure likely to be incurred. The support of the Trust should be acknowledged in any projects which benefit from such assistance.

The Trustees have previously provided support for research into accountancy education, scholarships or sponsored fellowships, new education structures and needs, publications.   • Title of project
  • Details of project
  • Duration and expected completion date
  • Budget of anticipated outlay
  • Relevant career details of applicant(s)
