RSS Feeds

RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication". What this means is it a technology that allows people to keep up to date with content on their favouite websites. What RSS is is actually a special kind of file that produces a bite-sized bursting of content that can be interpretted by special programs called aggregators which give the end user a synopsis of the most recent content and the means to click through and keep up to date with the latest content.

Aggregators

Programs that make sense of RSS feeds are called aggregators. They vary considerably and can be found in many forms..
