The ICAI Certificate in Directors Duties and Responsibilities will be starting again in May 2009. This course was first run in November '08 and offers Directors a comprehensive refresher on the key areas which they must be aware of to avoid potential liabilities and pitfalls.
Areas covered include:
- How competition, employment, health and safety law and other laws impact
- Reckless trading, insolvency, companies in difficulty and what to do
- ODCE its role, discipline and restrictions
- Charities to Listed companies and Corporate Governance rules
