Directors: there are over 150 reasons why you should do this course…

Thu, Apr 9, 2009

Are you an executive or non-executive director? Are you a director of a not-for-profit body? Are you aware that you are subject to over 150 laws under company law alone, in addition to your obligations under health and safety legislation, company law legislation and equality legislation!
Being aware of these can help you avoid possible pitfalls and make you a more effective director.

ICAI's Certificate in Directors Duties and Responsibilities takes a practical approach to the issues facing directors and commences on the 11th May.

One participant from the first course was Noreen Hynes who said, "I am Chairman of the Audit Committee of Aryzta AG which is listed on the Irish and Swiss stock exchanges. I felt that this course was ideal for updating myself on current legislation and on corporate governance and I found that it met all my expectations. I am delighted I attended and highly recommend it".
