Selected eCPD courses free for ICAI members in 2009

Wed, Apr 1, 2009

Throughout 2009 the ICAI will be releasing four new eCPD courses absolutely free of charge to ICAI members. The first course is already available online.

Why?

This is just another way that we are trying to support our members through a tough year. We have already announced the €100/£70 CPD credit for use against classroom-based courses and we wanted to add some free eCPD courses too.

Which courses?

One free course will be released in March, June, September and October of 2009.

We are unable to release the course titles in advance, but we have tried to pick four courses that will appeal to as many of our members as possible. We know that with such a diverse membership it will be hard to please everybody but hope that most people will find at least one of the four courses interesting to them.

The first free course - Statements of Insolvency Practice Update - was launched in eNews on 27th March.

How do I access the courses?

Simply log on to the ICAI website and follow the appropriate links to the eCPD course list. You'll easily be able to spot the free courses as they will have the words 'Free to ICAI Members' next to them in the course title. Just log on to the site, 'purchase' the course (at no charge for ICAI members) and you will have access straight away.
