CPD Programme 2010
The CPD programme for next year will be available on Chartered Accountants Ireland website by mid-January and will present courses covering the usual wide range of topics, including;

- Practice Management
- Taxation
This is your CPD programme, so if we have missed something let us know and we will do our best to bridge the gap. This year for example, we recognised that we had few courses in the area of Financial Services, and so 2010 will bring courses in topics such as;
- Accounting for Financial Instruments
- Preparing for the EU Solvency II Directive
- Understanding Funds
- Understanding the Capital Requirements Directive for Investment Firms
Price Reductions
The good news is that 2010 will also see further reductions in course fees. Moving to our own state of the art training facilities eliminates the need to hire expensive external training venues and we would like to pass this saving on to you, with up to 20% off many course prices and further reductions, offers and special rates for certain events.
Also, look out for details of road shows taking place throughout the year, including an auditing road show in 2010, priced at just €85.00 / £75.00 for members, for 3 hours CPD.
Training Tickets
Training ticket prices have also been reduced for 2010 and they are still the best value way of purchasing multiple training hours at greatly reduced rates, saving companies, practices, networks and individuals, hundreds of euros on regular course prices.

eCPD
Chartered Accountants Ireland currently offers several types of online CPD courses (eCPD), which can be purchased and accessed via the website.
New! In 2010 Chartered Accountants Ireland will also introduce live streaming of CPD courses from Chartered Accountants House, so keep a look-out for information on this appearing on our website next year.
