DETE seeking comments on EU proposal to simplify rules on mergers and divisions

The Department of Enterprise,Trade and Employment (DETE) is seeking comments from interested parties on a proposed EU Directive to further simplify rules on mergers and divisions and thereby reduce the administrative burdens on European public limited-liability companies in this area. Under this proposal, there would be simplified reporting and publication requirements.
