Aggressive acquisition the order of the day for Diploma in Corporate finance...

Two weeks ago, ICAI launched its latest post-qualification programme the Diploma in Corporate Finance. Since then the interest level has been high with projected booking beating all expectations. It is anticipated that the first course will fill to capacity in the coming weeks. Therefore if you wish to reserve a place you should act quickly and contact the Lifelong Learning team.

The course is designed to provide the accelerated development and the immediately demonstrable skills required to succeed as a top corporate finance professional.

Some of the key areas examined are:

  • Where do we invest our resources?
  • How do we finance those investments?
  • How do markets value companies?
  • When and how should we make acquisitions?
  • When should we consider disposals?
  • How can companies organise themselves to maximise shareholder value?

The programme takes an applied approach to learning, drawing upon 'real life' case studies and involves subject matter experts and guest lecturers to share their experience and expertise.
