Live web presentation introducing the Discussion Paper on Revenue Recognition

Fri, Jan 30, 2009

In December 2008 the IASB and the FASB published their joint discussion paper on Revenue Recognition. The discussion paper is open for public comment until 19 June 2009.

Jan Engström, Member of the Board, Henry Rees, Senior Project Manager and April Pitman, Project Manager, will be introducing the discussion paper in a live web presentation on 3 February 2009. The live web presentation will be followed by a question and answer session. Questions can be submitted during the presentation via the web presentation facilities. Instructions on how to do so will be given at the beginning of the presentation.

There are two separate sessions at 10am and 3pm. The web presentation and the question and answer sessions will be recorded and will be made available on the project website about 24h after the presentation. Each presentation inclusive of the question and answer session lasts about one hour. There's no charge to attend the web presentation, but you need to register to participate. Registration can be completed now or any time before the presentation. To access the IASB website to register, please click here.
