ICAI Tax - 12th January 2009

As advised in ICAI Tax on 5 November 2007, the Minister for Social and Family Affairs had signed a Bilateral Agreement on Social Security with the Republic of Korea. This agreement came into effect on 1 January 2009.

The main purpose of the agreement is to protect the pension rights of migrant workers who move between Ireland and the Republic of Korea.
