Career Mentoring
The Members Services team will shortly launch an online Career Mentoring Pilot programme. Over 80 senior and not so senior members have agreed to be part of this initiative, which will allow members in search of a mentor to browse anonymous profiles, each with an identifier code, on www.icai.ie.
The profiles will include gender, seniority, training background, experience, areas of expertise and location. Members can then contact the relevant executives with the codes of one or more
profiles of interest. Full details on how the programme works will also be posted
on the web. Please email members.services@icai.ie to register as a mentee.
Linked In
Members can business network, share information, grow their profiles, join discussion groups and look up former colleagues or classmates on the new online group at www.linkedin.com. The Chartered Accountants Ireland LinkedIn group which is exclusively for ICAI members and staff has been growing steadily and organically. It offers a chance to keep abreast of developments in ICAI and catch up with members at home and abroad. Members must sign up to the terms of use of LinkedIn. Once signed up to LinkedIn please search for the Chartered
Accountants Ireland Group.
