The Financial Reporting Council (FRC) has this week announced that Anthony Snow has joined as Chief Operating Officer.
Stephen Haddrill, FRC CEO, said:
"I am delighted that Anthony has joined the FRC.
Anthony will address a wide range of issues across the business, taking special responsibility for the overall development of FRC's strategy and Business Plan and for corporate communications, as well as oversight of operational matters.
The FRC considers it particularly important that we communicate powerfully with the market and that our reputation is deservedly strong amongst all our stakeholders, including other international and regulatory authorities, Parliament and those sections of the public we serve, such as investors. Anthony will be leading efforts to intensify our work in this area. I am looking forward to working very closely with him."
Anthony Snow, FRC COO said:
"I am very grateful for the opportunity to join the FRC at this exciting time and I look forward to working with the many and varied stakeholders that the FRC interacts with."
