Chartered Accountants Ireland has now issued Information Sheet 07 2009 International Education Standard 8 - Competence Requirements for Audit Professionals

International Education Standard 8 - Competence Requirements for Audit Professionals (IES 8), issued by the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), prescribes the minimum competence requirements which IFAC member bodies are expected to require their members to obtain before taking on the role of audit professional.
