What's happening in your region?

Thu, Nov 5, 2009

Chartered Accountants Ireland has over 18,500 members, with around half based in the Leinster region, a third in Munster and Ulster, and thousands more members spread across the rest of Ireland, the UK, Europe, and Australia.

Members also work in a wide variety of roles, from those who are just starting out, to people who are running their own practice, members working in business, or who are retired or who volunteer, to those who work in roles that don't appear to be accountancy related at all.

With such a diverse membership it is always going to be a challenge to meet the needs of all members, all of the time, but with so much going on at the moment, we hope that everyone will find something to inform, enlighten or entertain them in the coming months.

CPD Courses Coming to Your Region

Attending a course in your region is a great opportunity to keep your skills and knowledge up to date, and to meet your CPD requirements, without having to incur the time and expense of travelling further afield.

The CPD Department regularly receives requests for more courses outside of Leinster, but we can only do this with your continued support, so we hope to see you at a course in your region soon.

Please help us to ensure that courses go ahead by booking well in advance so that we know to expect you on the day, and so that we can have the tea ready for you!

Many of the full-day courses below are being offered at a reduced rate, with €75.00 off the usual member course fee. Also, don't forget that if you haven't already used your €100.00 credit [LINK], this can be used against any of these courses, and could reduce the price of a 7-hour course to just €275.00.

Also, remember that if you still can't make a CPD course near you, eCPD courses give you the opportunity to complete courses online wherever you are, and whenever you choose.
