nfo Sheet 09/2009: Companies Act Citation

Chartered Accountants Ireland has now issued Info Sheet 09/2009: Companies Act Citation.

This Information Sheets states that is CCAB-I view that it is appropriate for accountants and auditors to use the citation 'Companies Acts 1963 to 2009' for the Companies Acts. This is consistent with the position on the citation taken by the Companies Registration Office ('CRO').

This Information Sheet replaces previous Information Sheet 03/2007 which is now withdrawn with immediate effect.
