The Spotlight is on Directors

Are you a Director? Do you know the limit of you responsibilities and duties? Health and safety, competition law, environmental impact and what records should be maintained are just some of the concerns that Directors need to be aware.

The role of the Director has never been under more scrutiny with high profile cases such as DCC, Anglo-Irish and FÁS bringing their role and its critical function in terms of corporate governance into even sharper focus.

The Certificate in Directors Duties and Responsibilities will be offered again starting on Monday 2nd November. The course runs over 5 Monday nights and will in a concise way take you through the key concerns and highlighting the common pitfalls. The course will include contributions from a range of expert speakers including a number from the ODCE and the Irish Stock Exchange. While past guest speakers have included among other Vincent Sheridan former CEO of the VHI.
