HMRC have now updated their online company car and fuel benefit calculator for Finance Act 2010. This calculator
- calculates the 'benefit in kind' value of a company car and, if appropriate the car fuel benefit; and
- provides an indication of the Income Tax taxpayers would be liable to pay for the provision of company car and car fuel benefit
The calculator was updated in January 2010 to allow calculations for the years 2004-05 to 2010-11 inclusive. 2010-11 results include measures announced at Pre-Budget Report 2009 but are provisional until they become law and until it is clear that there will be no further changes affecting 2010-11 in a further 2010 Budget.
