As readers may be aware, the consultation period for HMRC's published draft legislation on deliberate wrongdoing by tax agents closed this week on 28th April.
As part of Chartered Accountants Ireland's submissions work on behalf of members, the Northern Ireland Tax Committee headed by Eamonn Donaghy has made a submission on this draft legislation. We will be publishing this in Monday's tax e-News.
