A new Tax Information Exchange Agreement (TIEA) with Belize was signed in London on 25 March 2010. The agreement covers all taxes imposed by the Contracting Parties at the date of signature of the Agreement together with any identical taxes imposed after the date of signature of the Agreement in addition to or in place of the existing taxes. Subject to the agreement of the Contracting Parties substantially similar taxes imposed in addition to or in place of existing taxes after the date of the agreement will also be covered.
The agreement will enter into force when each party has completed the necessary internal procedures to allow it be entered into force and then only when each Party has notified the other of the completion of those procedures.
