Chartered Accountants Tax News - 22nd March 2010

Mon, Mar 22, 2010

The March issue of tax.point; Chartered Accountants Ireland's monthly tax bulletin for tax professionals and accountants, is now available.

In this months issue Dermot O'Brien, Principal of Dermot O'Brien & Associates, looks at the VAT issues arising from the Travel Agents' Margin Scheme. Mark Doyle, Tax Manager with Grant Thornton, considers the tax and company law aspects of a buyback by an unquoted company of its own shares.

This months issue also brings you Chartered Accountants Ireland's analysis of key tax developments such as the Finance Bill 2010 Committee Stage amendments; the new UK tax rules for residence and domicile and EU state aid rules. Important source documents; Chartered Accountants Ireland's commentary on current case law; and forthcoming Irish tax deadlines also feature in this months issue.

Subscribers to the monthly tax.point journal will shortly receive their March issue by post. The March issue is also live and subscribers to tax.point online can access this months issue by clicking here and entering their username and password.
