HMRC have published details of the newly signed TIEA between the UK and the Netherlands Antilles.

The Contracting Parties of each country have agreed to provide assistance through exchange of information relevant to the administration and enforcement of the domestic taxation laws of their respective jurisdictions. The information to be included will be information that is ‘foreseeably relevant to the determination, assessment and collection of such taxes, the recovery and enforcement of tax claims, or the investigation or prosecution of tax matters’.

Information will only be exchanged in accordance with the provisions of the Agreement and shall be treated as confidential in the manner provided in Article 8.
