Library Services - Notice re change to service
Library Services: Due to the implementation of cost savings initiatives, from Monday 26th of November 2012, the libraries in Dublin and Belfast will operate on a self-service basis.
Borrowing a book: If you wish to borrow a book you may do so on an honour basis , by dropping into the library. A log will be provided for you to note the book that you are borrowing and the date that you return it.
Online Catalogue
An online catalogue covering all of our printed collections is available to members via the Institute website
EBSCO-Business Source Corporate
Research & Information Service provides Chartered Accountants Ireland members free access to EBSCO, a major business full-text database of nearly 3000 business journals via the Members' area of the website.This database also provides country economic reports, industry reports and Datamonitor company profiles.
Purchasing books: Requests to purchase books should be made through reception between 9am-5pm or outside of those hours orders can be made on-line at http://www.charteredaccountants.ie/General/Shop/
Wi-Fi logins: Wi Fi logins are available to members from reception.
CARB queries: Queries about CARB’s register of findings should be referred to Georgina Lanigan at 01 6377212
We have commenced work on transitioning the library into a new virtual service . This will take place over the coming months. In the meantime we will not be in a position to provide any further support services until 2013.
