Chartered Accountants Ulster Society is the oldest district society of the Institute and serves around 3,800 members throughout Northern Ireland. The Ulster Society provides professional, educational and social services and events for its members (both in practice and in business) and is a strong voice for Northern Ireland's business sector. The Society also actively fosters relationships with other accountancy, professional organisations and government bodies. The Chairman is Patrick Gallen.

Chartered Accountants Cork Society is run by a committee of local members. The Society has four main sub-committees:
- Corporate Social Responsibility
- Training, Education & Careers ( incl. CPD )
- Members' Services and Communications
- Chartered Accountants in Business
The Society runs a local social, networking and CPD events for members every year.

The Mid West Society was re-established in 2007 and represents the interests of up to 1,000 local business leaders, who are employed in senior financial positions in industry, commerce and practice. As a young and dynamic group of professionals (58% are under 40 years of age), the Society not only provides professional development and social networking opportunities but also has the necessary energy and ambition to foster enterprise in the region. Neil O'Dwyer is this year's Chairman.
Chartered Accountants Western is a District Society Chartered Accountants Ireland which is the largest and longest established accountancy body in Ireland. It has over 15,000 members, and it is the leading voice of the accountancy profession in Ireland. The Western Society has over 560 members and aims to provide a professional and social forum for members in the West. Please check the Events page for both CPD and social events locally.

This Society, established in 2009, serves Chartered Accountants in Donegal, Leitrim, Mayo, Roscommon and Sligo, where it interacts with the business community and provides professional supports and social networking for its members. The Chairman is Elaine McBride.
Nearly 2,000 members who live and/or work within the Greater London area are served by the London Society of Chartered Accountants Ireland. Since its inauguration in March 2009, this Society has presented a regular and varied programme of CPD and networking events. Council member Gerry Nicholas is Chairman of the Society.

Chartered Accountants Ireland Australian Society is based in Sydney and provides opportunities for Irish members to meet for social and professional purposes. The Chairman is Conor Keenan. Local chapters, in Perth and Melbourne have recently been added.

As part of your membership, Chartered Accountants residing in the USA are entitled to complimentary full membership of the Association of Chartered Accountants in the United States (ACAUS). With over 7,000 members, ACAUS provides a range of networking activities operating through 18 chapters across the USA: from Honolulu to New York and from Boston to LA. Some are large (NY has 1,800 members) – some small (Utah has just 27 members). A chapter meeting is never far away from you.
ACAUS is co-ordinated in the US by Sasha Carlson.
