Join over 200 of the world's leading experts in XBRL in the Convention Centre Dublin this April. XBRL Ireland, of which Chartered Accountants Ireland is a partner, is delighted to be hosting the 26th International Conference. The conference brings together the leading minds and personalities from the world of XBRL; experts, regulators, project leaders, filers and software vendors.

Note: for those attending the Monday Filer Training they can obtain this day an even lower price of €300.

Wednesday 17th April

The Revenue Commissioners in Ireland are co-chairing the Taxation track on Wednesday and this is very relevant given their mandate from later this year and the existing HMRC requirements.  Separately, we have scheduled a fantastic training course to cover off how to comply with these mandates - click here to learn more. We also have tracks on Wednesday covering Business Intelligence, Business Registers and Academic Research.

Thursday 18th April

Our Financial Regulation track which is covering the increasing requirements for Banks and Insurance companies will be very popular on the Thursday.  We also have tracks on Thursday covering Technology, Non-Financial Reporting and Assurance.

You may be interested in how your own company can comply with your Irish or UK requirements, or as a practitioner also want to be able to offer similar services to your clients. This is a truly global conference - we anticipate many EU and US experts being here.

  • There will be very interesting symposia on the main day of the conference covering European adoption and how IFRS and XBRL are working together in capital markets.
  • The requirements for Banks and Insurance Companies in relation to Corep/Finrep for Banks and Solvency II reporting for Insurance Companies are continuing to evolve - this is covered all day Thursday and is being run in conjunction with the Eurofiling group that will stage their own meeting on Friday with the support of our Central Bank.
  • The other tracks over Wednesday and Thursday cover taxation, business intelligence, assurance, business registers and even academic research. This really is an opportunity to catch up and learn a huge amount about where xbrl impacts you now and will help you in the future.
