In an analysis piece in the Sunday Business Post, Dr Brian Keegan Director of Public Policy and Taxation says that we shouldn’t expect the unexpected in Budget 2019. Writing in the Irish Examiner today, Brian examined what a 43% income tax rate might mean for tax payers. Brian also discussed the same issue on last Tuesday’s (21/08) The Last Word (37:10 mins) on Today FM and The Hard Shoulder (Part 2) on Newstalk.

In The Times (Ireland Edition) and the Irish Examiner, the Institute called for Ireland to match the UK’s VAT proposals to delay VAT on imports after Brexit, even if a deal is reached.
