    Chartered Accountants Ireland gives notice that three public hearings before a Disciplinary Tribunal will commence at 9am on 14 December 2016 at Chartered Accountants House, 47-49 Pearse Street, Dublin 2.

    The disciplinary hearings relate to allegations regarding members of Chartered Accountants Ireland whom it is alleged did render themselves liable to disciplinary action by either acting in breach of the Code of Ethics for Members of Chartered Accountants Ireland or by failing to co-operate with the disciplinary process of Chartered Accountants Ireland. The formal allegations will be heard in accordance with the Disciplinary Bye-Laws and Regulations of Chartered Accountants Ireland.

    Chartered Accountants Ireland gives notice that two public hearings before a Disciplinary Tribunal will commence at 9.30am on 10 November 2016 at Chartered Accountants House, 47-49 Pearse St., Dublin 2.

    The disciplinary hearings relate to allegations regarding members of Chartered Accountants Ireland whom it is alleged did render themselves liable to disciplinary action by being guilty of Misconduct or by acting in breach of CARB's Public Practice Regulations. It is further alleged that one of the members failed to co-operate with the disciplinary process of Chartered Accountants Ireland. The formal allegations will be heard in accordance with the Disciplinary Bye-Laws and Regulations of Chartered Accountants Ireland.

    The Disciplinary Tribunal relates to complaints regarding a member of Chartered Accountants Ireland (the Institute) whom it is alleged did render himself liable to disciplinary action by acting in breach of the Institute’s Codes of Ethics for Members. It is further alleged that an insolvency event occurred in relation to the member. The matters will be heard in accordance with the Disciplinary Bye-Laws and Regulations of the Institute.

    The Appeal Tribunal relates to complaints regarding a member of Chartered Accountants Ireland whom it is alleged did render himself liable to disciplinary action by failing to satisfy judgment debts. It is further alleged that the member acted contrary to the Rules of Professional Conduct of Chartered Accountants Ireland. The Appeal Tribunal will be heard in accordance with the Disciplinary Bye-Laws and Regulations of Chartered Accountants Ireland.
