2,500 employers fail to respond to TWSS compliance checks

Feb 15, 2021

Revenue suspended Employment Wage Subsidy Scheme (EWSS) and/or Covid Restrictions Support Scheme (CRSS) payments to employers who have failed to respond to TWSS compliance checks. Some 2,500 employers have yet to respond to TWSS compliance check letters, despite reminders. Revenue began issuing letters notifying employers and their PREM agents last week.

The letter sent to employers, notifying them of the suspension of EWSS/CRSS payments, details that access to the schemes will be restored when the requested information is received and verified. Another letter is being sent to employers who are not in receipt of EWSS/CRSS payments but received TWSS payments and have yet to respond to TWSS compliance checks communications.
