As we have now cancelled all face to face classes due to Covid-19, we are not able to run the revision (exam prep) sessions as normal. The sessions will take place between 18-31 May.
The CAP2 revision programme has been redesigned and will be delivered through a series of webinars and recordings, which will allow you to continue your study regardless of when your study leave is scheduled. The sessions will provide an opportunity to actively engage with the lecturer, ask questions and help shape the content of the final webinar to ensure that the areas you want to see covered are built into the sessions.
But first, the mocks.
Ahead of revision, the CAP2 2020 mock papers will be released, providing new material to work through. The mock papers are exam standard questions, so we strongly recommend you use these as part of your study. It will also give you an opportunity to practice an open book exam which can be challenging, so we would really encourage you to sit each paper under exam conditions within the allocated time to see how you get on. We will issue some further guidance on this next week.
CAP2 revision
The focus of the revision session will be working through the 2018/2019 papers, exam technique and timing. These sessions will complement the online suite of recordings and a revision pack will be uploaded to the student portal shortly which will contain all the relevant material needed in advance of, and during each session. We strongly encourage you to engage with the live webinars, however they will be recorded if you are unable to log in on the day. Webinar links will be issued closer to the time.
Financial Reporting
Ahead of webinar 1, three new questions (Dorton, Dockers, Antrim) should be viewed (if possible). These questions would have been covered in sessions 14-16.

What next...?
Once the revision sessions have taken place, there will be a final opportunity to attend an online Ask Me Anything (AMA) session ahead of the exams. We want these to be as interactive as possible and ensure the lecturer addresses key concerns or queries which you may still have.
These sessions will be 1.5 hours long and will not cover any new material. Students will be required to submit questions to the CAP2 team ahead of the AMA to ensure the topic is addressed. These sessions will be scheduled for late June or early July and further details will be issued closer to the time.
