Highlights this week include Revenue promises improvements to the VAT registration process, draft UK Finance Bill clauses are published and controvery causes a relaunch of the Danish revenue authority.

  1. Revenue told us that improvements to the VAT registration process are on their agenda but often incomplete information to support VAT registrations is delaying the process.Read more about this story on our website
  2. Revenue have updated their Tax and Duty manual to clarify that, where withholding tax is deducted in error from an interest payment, a full or partial refund of the withholding tax deducted may be due under a Double Taxation Agreement
