This week read about the newest enhancements to the ROS Form CT1. In the UK, to help businesses prepare for Brexit, HMRC are automatically allocating EORI numbers to certain businesses. In International news, Apple Inc. and Ireland state aid appeal hearing date has been set.  

       Ireland

  1. An enhancement to the Revenue Online Service (ROS) Form CT1 now allows taxpayers to change the company’s accounting period by amending the start date and end date for the accounting period
  1. Revenue will be closing all existing Electronic Funds Transfer “EFT” accounts with Bank of Ireland and AIB following the transition of commercial bank accounts to Danske Bank.Details of alternative online payment methods will be communicated to taxpayers affected. Read more
