France joins the OECD’s co-operative tax compliance program

Mar 19, 2019

France recently launched a co-operative compliance program for promoting better tax compliance as developed by the OECD’s Forum on Tax Administration. Co-operative tax compliance has been in place in Ireland since 2005.

The co-operative tax compliance program is an engagement between the tax authorities and the taxpayer with the objective of controlling tax risks and aggressive tax planning on the part of the tax authority and of greater tax certainty on the part of the taxpayer.
