Guidance for using the Revenue Technical Service

Revenue has updated its guidance to reflect some recent changes to the Revenue Technical Service (RTS).  These include the establishment of an RTS branch in the Medium Enterprises Division which has responsibility for delivering RTS nationally (with the exclusion of LCD cases).  Members have reported to us delays in getting responses from the RTS so it is hoped that this new structure will enhance the technical capacity of the service and in turn faster response times.

The guidance states that the Queries Management Team (QMT) is staffed on a full-time basis and RTS queries must be sent to the QMT who will liaise with an RTS caseworker to prepare a reply.  Other updates can be found in Revenue’s e-Brief.
