In his regular column in the Sunday Business Post, Brian Keegan, Director of Public Policy and Taxation discusses the Brexit agreement and how the outlook looks overwhelmingly bleak.  In the Irish Examiner, Brian talks about how the Brexit agreement seems to address the concerns raised by the Northern Ireland parties back in 2016. Also in the Irish Examiner Brian commented on how up to 500,000 PAYE employees could be hit as Revenue reviews its policy of giving tax credits to staff for work expenses. On the same issue, in the Irish Times and the Time Ireland Edition, Brian says that the cash benefit of the tax cuts announced in the October budget could be lost for affected PAYE workers.  In the Irish Independent Brian said these changes were ill timed and difficult for employers and employees alike.
