The Institute’s Budget 2020 press release garnered hefty media coverage in the Irish Times, Irish Examiner(Stamp duty/Brexit) and Biz Plus, where Dr Brian Keegan was reported discussing the management of public expenditure in the context of Brexit. He was also heard critically analysing the Budget on RTE Radio 1’s Budget 2020 special expert panel. Additionally, CCAB-I’s pre-Budget submission to the Department of Finance got coverage in Business Plus, where committee chair Sharon Burke was quoted discussing the Employment and Investment Incentive (EII).

 With only 3 weeks to go to the 31 October Brexit deadline, in his regular column in the Sunday Business Post, Dr Keegan talks about how Brexit pressures will put the EU’s extended supports to Ireland to the ultimate test. In his column in the Irish Examiner, Dr Keegan discusses the upcoming Budget 2020 in the context of Brexit and its impact on jobs.

 Dr Keegan was also featured on the RTE Six One News (19:51), where he was discussing the new OECD digital tax proposals and their impact on intellectual property rights in Ireland.
