In his regular column in the Sunday Business Post, Brian Keegan, Director of Advocacy & Voice discusses how figures collected by Revenue and the CSO should be used to improve fairness and accuracy of the tax system.  In the Irish Examiner, Brian warns against letting legislation, such as GDPR create unnecessary red tape.   Cróna Clohisey, Manager in the Institute commented on the need for clarity around border customs checks which were lacking in the Government’s recent Brexit contingency plans in the Sunday Business Independent.  Also featured in the Sunday Business Independent was CCAB-I’s call for additional resources for Revenue to cope with Brexit which were contained within its pre-Budget 2020 submission.
