In light of the UK’s recent Brexit proposals, the impact on customs and disruption to livelihood and trade are the key messages from the Institute this week. Director of Advocacy and Voice, Dr Brian Keegan was heard discussing the impact of the UK’s new Brexit protocol on Ireland/Northern Ireland on Sky News last week. Ahead of the Institute’s Brexit customs course in Derry earlier this week, UK Taxation Specialist, Leontia Doran was reported talking about the suggested border customs clearance zones by the UK.
