The latest preliminary statistics published last week by Revenue show that there are 22,500 employers currently registered with Revenue for EWSS, with payments of €73.4 million made to date in April, bringing the overall total payments made since July/August 2020 to €6.783 billion. There were 112 claims for temporary acceleration of loss relief from companies and 49 from self-employed individuals during 2020. €90.6 million and €560,000 were claimed respectively.
