  • Essential services: Representations on your behalf to have accountants included in the list of essential services. The list includes references to accountancy, payroll and payment and data processing services
  • Auditing: Implications for audits and updates from regulators and professional bodies. A COVID-19 FAQ for auditors was also collated
  • Financial Reporting: Updates and implications on financial reporting from regulators, professional bodies and member firms
  • Insolvency: Information for Insolvency Practitioners in ROI and Northern Ireland
  • Boards and Corporate Governance: Published an article and held a webinar on the COVID-19 implications for Boards and Corporate Governance
  • Practice Consulting: Issued advice and information for practices, completed webinars on both accounting and audit issues and produced guidance for attendance at stocktakes for small and medium sized entities
  • Taxation: Providing updates in both ROI and NI on the numerous changes that have been put in place
  • Employers and employees: Updated guidance on the Wage Subsidy Scheme and summarised income support information for employers and employees
  • Key stakeholders: Engagement and updates from key stakeholders including Companies Registration Office, the Central Bank of Ireland, the Charities Regulator, the Court Services, and the Pensions Regulator in the Republic of Ireland, and Companies House and the Charities Regulator in Northern Ireland
