Feb 15, 2021

On Wednesday 10 February, the Institute’s Director of Advocacy and Voice, Dr Brian Keegan joined Paul Tang, MEP, Chair of the new European Parliament subcommittee on Tax Matters and Pascal Saint-Amans, Director of the OECD Centre for Tax Policy and Administration to debate the “Future of Corporation Taxation in Europe over the next 10 years.” The event was hosted by the Institute of International and European Affairs (IIEA), Brussels.

Dr Keegan set out the impact of corporation tax policy from the perspective of an Irish and small Member State.  Chartered Accountants Ireland provided a response to the OECD Public Consultation on Pillar One and Pillar Two Blueprints, under the auspicious of the CCAB-I.  The Minister for Finance, Pascal Donohoe, published an updated Ireland’s Corporate Tax Roadmap last month. The update takes stock of the challenges of the international tax environment.
