To meet the increasing demand for their services, they are now looking to recruit energetic and enthusiastic finance professionals who are looking to further develop their career in an exciting and fast-paced environment. With that in mind successful candidates can look forward to huge range of opportunities including accounting, financial and commercial analysis across a range of activities and projects within the ESB Business Units.

The roles available at this level include:
(A) Finance Business Partner
• Co-ordination of all aspects of business financial reporting including quarterly forecasting and half and full year reporting
• Leading the Electric Ireland annual budgeting process on behalf of the Financial Controller
• Working closely with the other finance business partners to improve financial performance
• Financial Business Partner to the Customer Operations, Sales and Service teams
• Guiding bad debt policy and driving performance improvements in bad debt performance
• Liaising with stakeholders including external auditors in relation to statutory financial reporting
• Support maintenance of a robust governance control framework
• Manage, lead and develop financial analyst(s)

(B) Financial Performance Manager
• Manage Management Reporting, Budgeting and Forecasting process within ESB International
• Develop and present on Key Performance Metrics
• Provide financial support and guidance to Business Managers across the business.
• Manage and develop financial performance team members
• Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders including
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems
• Management of statutory audit process and engagement with external auditors
• Other Ad hoc duties as required by Financial Controller, ESB International.

(C) Senior Financial Performance Analyst
• Development and agreement of appropriate targets, key performance indicators and reports
• Driving of financial performance improvements and process efficiencies
• Reviewing and challenging plans for target setting and budgets submitted by locations
• Managing the preparation, agreement and presentation of financial planning, quarterly forecasting and annual budget and business planning processes
• Working with Operations on all aspects of financial reporting, planning and coordination of governance
• Working with business managers to develop plans and strategies for improving performance
• Manage, lead, motivate and develop the Financial Performance and Governance team
