Chartered Accountants Ireland has over 3,900 members and 1,100 students based in Northern Ireland. Our members in Northern Ireland work at the heart of business and they have strong relationships with
professional organisations, businesses and government bodies.
If you'd like to study to become a Chartered Accountant in Northern Ireland now you can with our part time flexible route. You can attend lectures on a part time basis in our Belfast training facilities or opt for our distance programme.
WHEN DOES THE COURSE BEGIN?
Enrolment for the course closes 1 September and the programme begins in October. The application process can take a number of weeks so please be sure to apply now to avoid disappointment.
WHERE CAN I STUDY?
Our study facilities are located in Belfast 32-38 Linenhall Street Belfast, BT2 8BG in Belfast's city centre.
WHEN ARE THE LECTURES?
The part-time lectures take place on Friday evenings and Saturdays with some weekday evening classes. The distance option relies heavily on self-learning with a number of distance workshops at our Belfast HQ that require attendance to bring all of the materials together.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
We’ve benchmarked our fees and are confident that they represent excellent value in comparison to other professional accountancy qualifications available. Remember you only pay for the subjects you take – so if you are exempt from an exam, you don't pay for it.
We offer an instalment payment plan available for the fees. To find out more about the instalment payment plan get in touch via the Contact Us page.
HOW CAN I APPLY?
To start your studies, the minimum requirement to join the programme is a 3rd level degree (any field of study) or an Accounting Technician qualification. We'll require original college transcripts for your application. Make sure to request original copies from your college (please allow for approximately three weeks to receive these).
