Chartered Accountants Ireland calls for urgent action on implementation of Level 5 restrictions
Chartered Accountants Ireland wrote a letter to Ministers Donohoe and McGrath calling for four essential financial and expenditure measures to be implemented with immediate effect on the introduction Level 5 restrictions. The letter called for wage subsidy supports to be restored to the standard of the TWSS. All fiduciary taxes for the duration of the Level 5 restrictions to be eligible for the tax debt warehousing scheme. As well as reporting and filing obligations to the various government agencies to be suspended and a premises maintenance grant to be introduced to compensate businesses for the potential damage to premises over the restriction period.
