The first phase of the Fáilte Ireland Business Continuity Scheme opened for applications from certain businesses last month.

The scheme was open for applications from businesses within the below categories who meet the eligibility criteria:

• Outdoor activity providers
• Tourism golf courses
• Hop-on Hop-off bus tours
• Cruise hire companies
• Boat tours operators
• Visitor attractions not eligible for CRSS
• Caravan and camping / outdoor accommodation

Applications were accepted through the Fáilte Ireland Trade Portal Account. Details on the application process, the terms of the scheme, guidelines and FAQs, along with a webinar on the scheme are available through the Fáilte Ireland website.

Applications for the first phase closed on Monday, 8 March 2021.
