Brexit latest developments

  • The European Commission has announced that the UK and EU have reached an agreement in principle on the catch limits for jointly-managed fish stocks for the rest of 2021.
  • The deadline to apply for the EU Settlement Scheme, whereby EU citizens are granted a right to remain in the UK closes on 30 June 2021. It’s reported that more than 86,000 people in Northern Ireland have applied to remain in the UK.
