Cabinet Office Minister David Frost announced last month that the UK Government will create a new unit focused on post-Brexit regulatory reform. Mr Frost told the European Scrutiny Committee, stating that the group will look at opportunities for regulatory reform following Brexit and will include areas such as financial services.

The unit is likely to be led by someone external to Government, according to Mr Frost and recruitment will start shortly.
