Managing business performance is THE key task of any executive or manager. If organisations get it right, their BPM process allows them to define and communicate their strategic goals, measure and monitor progress, analyse performance, report progress, reduce risks and manage and improve business performance.

BPM has to be tightly aligned to the strategy of an organisation, or it will not be effective. Performance frameworks, KPIs, analysis and reporting are only useful if they are based on the goals and overall strategy of the organisation.
