Due to our unique working relationship with Ireland's top employers, we have a freely available list of training vacancies positions. This is a list of firms and companies with open Chartered Accountancy trainee positions.

If you are interested in a position please contact the organisations directly. While most of the positions are in practice with a Training Contract on offer, there are also some companies in Industry hiring trainees via the Flexible Route.

Not all registered training firms and businesses will advertise positions on our training vacancy page and please bear in mind that not all registered organisations are listed on our website. So make sure to contact any firm or business directly if you want to find out if they have any open training positions.

Some firms will only recruit during the "Milkrounds" this takes place in colleges and universities around the country where firms and businesses with conduct presentations and exhibitions on campus to advertise Training Contracts and recruit students focusing on the graduate classes of degrees in accounting, finance, and other relevant areas. Free advertising of vacancies

This position will involve a 3 or 3 ½ year training contract leading to the ACA qualification. Elevation trainees will also be considered.

Our focus is not purely on professional qualifications.  Whilst achievement of same is important to us we aim to assist the candidate become a well-rounded competent professional with focus on the client’s needs which in turn will add value to our practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts preparation
  • Assisting with audit preparation and completion.
  • Corresponding and liaising directly with clients on clients on client queries.
  • Assisting with company secretarial submissions.
  • Assisting with the completion and submission of company corporation tax returns.
  • Preparation of personal Income Tax returns.
  • Solicitors Accounts Regulation Testing procedures.
  • Other ad hoc duties as required.
Requirements:     

Key Requirement for the role:

  • Effective organisational & time management skills with an ability to prioritise work efficiently.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a busy environment.
  • Good interpersonal & communication skills.
  • Ability to use one’s own judgement.
  • Strong computer skills and experience in accounting software, we use RAP, DRIVE, SAGE, Big Red Cloud, TAS Books and Thesaurus so experience in using these packages is an advantage.
  • Willingness to learn and grow into the role of a successful and competent Chartered Accountant.
